This game from Ideal sold from 1969 to 1977. Up to four players launch spinning tops into a concave, round battle arena and if your top is the last one remaining, you win! There were six different colored tops to choose from,

The red top reverses the spinning direction (what you can see as it also reverses the circles it makes, technically called precession). That proves that they played the film backwards to make it rise.
