On a typical Friday in San Miguel de Allende at 6pm, traffic is usually so bad you can walk anywhere faster than you can drive.
Tonight, on my way from our Colonia, Santa Julia, into Centro, the streets are almost deserted. The few people out are for the most part not wearing masks. In our neighborhood a group of boys play soccer in a dusty field, a daily occurance. Other than that, there are few people, and every single street you see here, is normally a traffic jam.
