This was my first attempt at a finale with mortars. I used quad shells. There were breaks in the finale because the fuse did not go as fast as I thought it was going to. Anyway, if you could leave comments and suggestions for me to improve for next year that would be great.

  • 1.4G is the biggest fireworks of the world idiot. it's with the biggest flashpowder dossis. we are from holland and we now averything of fireworks

  • Wow, are you f***ing retarted? 1.4g or "consumer fireworks" are the ones in America that we as citizens can buy legaly. 1.3g are display fireworks the ones you see in the shows. But since your from Holland and you "now averything of fireworks" I wont hold this comment against you. Oh, and I wouldn't say "we" because Im sure not everybody in your country is retarted like you...

  • I also just looked up Hollands classifications and they are the same as here... So next time you trash talk to someone you do not even know atleast know what you are talking about... idiot. Just to let you know 1.1 are the biggest fireworks in the world idiot.

  • @larsswaluw tard ball

  • @briauc is there a limit for liscenced pyros in the us?

  • 1.4g is consumer grade. just because the number is smaller in 1.3g is because its a rating not a litteral weight. learn your shit holland

I'm also from Holland, we got some goot quality fireworks there, but for consumers its just 1.4G fireworks!:) Whats your favorite brand of fireworks?

  • I work in professional fireworks and in most cases, any shell over 16 inches in size is classified as a 1.1G for shipping and storage purposes. It is sort of like how black powder is classified 1.3G even thought its not a high explosive.

  • You did a pretty good job with what you had to work work with there. Check out my finale from this year. I have tried using shells in the past, but i have found it to be too much work. for a really good consumer finale try finding some mines for low coverage, about 2 cases of small cakes for medium hight coverage and a couple cases of 500grams for high stuff. To to give the display a grander feel, use boards to angle the cakes into a fan formation. I used trampoline frame with wood bent over it.

  • technically 1.1g is not fireworks. 1.3g is the largest "fireworks" in the world. 1.1g are HE devices. that includes a 12" ball filled with gunpowder and stars with a lift charge that looks like a conventional firework...but that 12" ball contains so much energy it can rip through the side of a shipping container with ease, much like a high explosive (1.1g), and thus, it is classed as such.

  • Try fast visco or quickmatch wicks on your finale racks.

  • ok. you know after i...well...started a big fire..."on accident" lol...fireworks arnt some playing matter to me...

  • that's treu but ore fireworks is so bad. the huge fireworks in holland is 500gr. We go to belgium for fireworks that's better with te singal rockets and the bijg shells.
