Maybe it is metalcore, but it's not "wristcutter music". Wristcutter music is Linkin Park and the likes of such. If a band screams, it doesn't mean they're emo.

It is metalcore, not melodic death metal. You don't HAVE to have a breakdown to be metalcore(think bands like Darkest Hour) but Anterior does have some in a few of their songs. But I agree with you 100% that metalcore has absolutely nothing to do with being "emo". I don't even know where that idea came from. You don't cut your wrist to metal -.- You cut your wrist to like Evanescence and stuff, not metalcore or metal in general.
