Virginia Tech Video Tribute - Tragedy 4/16/07 - "Fix You"

The Hokie Nation lost 32 members on April 16, 2007. Each of them deserves to have their picture represented, and not simply be part of some media "list". I avoided including religious or political views within my video as I simply wanted to focus on the victims. I chose the song "Fix You", because every time I listen to it, I can't help but think of the the people I would like to bring back... like a five year old would say, "Fix". I first heard it in the movie trailer "World Trade Center". In the words of Nikki Giovanni, "We will prevail, We Are Virginia Tech."

I think the video touches alot of people, Im originally from that area and I now reside in Tn. Im still and always will be a true hokie. When I first heard about this I was listening to the radio and they were broadcasting it, I was in shock, I pray everyday for the familys of the victims, I just feel that the killer deserves nothing and shouldnt even be mentioned in any order with the true victoms in my opinion he was an evil cold blooded killer. Tech will and has already began to prevail.

I knew Leslie Sherman.I cry every time I watch this, even though it's been almost 4 months. Words can't describe how much this video means to me & to everyone else affected by this. I just wanted to thank each & every one of you for all the support you have given us. It is truly beautiful how everyone came to Hokie Nation's side after this tragedy. What a beautiful tribute video to the victims and families of the Va Tech tragedy.

I am so saddened by this tragedy and feel for all at the school. I was a student there back in 1982-83 and have many fond memories of the school.

May all affected by this tragedy find peace in knowing that we all care and you have proved that with this wonderful tribute.
