Eric Dressen - "Speed Freaks Video" (1989)

Inspirational Skateboard Video Parts From The Past.

When I skated back in the late 80's into the 90's, one of my favorite things to do before heading out, was to watch a scene or scenes from a skateboard video, you know, for a little pump up.

I decided to compile some of my favorite moments from some of the old vids.

This first scene is Eric Dressen from the Speed Wheel Santa Cruz Team video called "Speed Freaks Video" from 1989. This video was great in whole, with a wide variety of great skaters and great music for their parts. The vid wastes no time getting started, as Eric Dressen is the first skater on it. Just watching Eric attack the hill in the opening shot was enough for me. I was amped from just seeing that. And the school yard stuff is classic. Eric's speed and style is still a cool thing to look at.
