had mine pulled today. there was no crown at all just a fucked up root that had been infected (very painful). I was scared thinking 'how the hell is he going to get this root outta my mouth theres nothing to actually pull!' ..thing is they break the bone connectiing the tooth to the skull first and then the tooth just pops out (i think), and this NEVER hurts. the injections completely knock out the nerves. It feels weird but trust me it doesnt hurt. just relax and in future dont eat sweets!

thank you so much for the info :) , i finally got mine pulled yesterday and it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be but i definitly felt a lots of pressure at the moment but no pain .

now im in the healing process , i cant eat all i want :S but i'll survive lol :D.

@zino15usa and the soreness the few days after, but they gave me plenty of tabs for the pain, I recommend ice packs and rest, you can eat and drink what ever you want afterwards but for the first few days, you wont want to eat much, I made lots of smoothies :] and that helped from the coldness for the swelling and not having to chew, good luck, again sorry for my life story, just trying to help! also DONT USE STRAWS! it will pull your clot out and make it bleed again! good luck!

@zino15usa sent me on my way home, I am now healed a week later, at first I couldn't chew or even open my mouth from the soreness, but I expected that, I can now eat and chew perfectly fine its just weird having a hole back there but its almost healed up, sorry for writing this HUGE story I'm just trying to give anyone out there getting this done a helping hand it was not a horrible expirience and this is coming from someone who is TERRIFIED of the dentist, the worst part was the shot

@zino15usa well, I've had alot of teeth issues due to my family history so it took two shots to get me numb which usually take 4 or more so thank god for that, but they started me on laughing gas which calms you down, then they gave me the shots, and after that i felt alot of tugging and pulling which didn't hurt it was just really annoying and then about 1 minute later, my dentist said "all done its out" and i was like HUH? that fast wow.. he stuck gauze in my mouth and

i got that exact same tooth removed today except mine didn't take that long.
