While waiting in Chatsworth to catch a Surfliner to Santa Ana, this came by. Sorry that the camcorder died. The train was roughly fifteen to twenty cars long.

Shot with a Canon Vixia HF R10 and a Nikon Coolpix L105. Edited with Sony Vegas Pro 9.0.

  • What locomotive is in the lead? It doesn't look like UP power.

  • @Dexter1142 It's a leased GMTX locomotive from what I'm hearing.

  • Awesome catch! I think this is the Saugus Local.

  • @ocrailfan That train runs daily but this one only comes about once a month from what I'm hearing. Plus the Saugus doesn't run in these parts.
