  • @rjardy Thanks m8. I appreciate that. :)

  • @rawmark

    Good luck on your venture!

  • @CubaRican908

Jobs are out there. If your dedicated and professional, prove yourself to be a solid pilot, there is a decent shot of getting hired on with the school then moving up from there. Don't wait, and let it pass by. Jump on this. I'm doing it and have never looked back. Ill be finished in two more semesters and cannot believe how quickly it has gone.

  • @rjardy Looks like a great school but since I am former IDF military they won't pay for me to attend so I'm better off going to Florida for training. Anyway, I don't think I'm really looking at flying helicopters for a careers but I'd love to get my private pilot licence, instrument rating and night flying. Anyway, guidance does look like an awesome school, especially for US Military that need high altitude training.

  • I live in New Jersey and i'm a veteran. I have friend that I served with thats currently attending this school and he loves everyday of it. I really am considering going myself, but with training from Guidance Helicopters what are my odds of landing a job in the helicopter industry.

  • @SgtBenasfre - Yup post 9/11 covers it all and pays you a housing allowance. 30 is by no means to old. I was 30 when I started and have been out since 2005. If you are interested in Guidance Helicopters here in Prescott AZ, hit me up with an email and we can chat it up rjardy2@yahoo.com

@centerra100, what helicopter do you fly or train in? I have not found a down side to a robby. Any helicopter can kill you...

  • @rjardy So the 9/11 GI Bill will pay for all of it?! That is exciting news. I have been wanting to do this for a long time but the costs are insane. I'll be about thirty by the time I get out of the military as well. I can't wait to start this!

  • Comments look good.....but who wants to fly a Robinson

  • This is the school I go to. I love it. The staff is great and very helpful. Im lucky enough to have the program paid in full by the post 9/11 GI bill. I have had to come out of pocket for literally nothing. Im thirty years old and have done some fun and exciting things with my life, but this tops them all. I recommend anyone that may be interested, to look into it. Flying helicopters is a blast, and it beats working for a living.

  • @PhntmVP this is also my dream...i wish you luck with your flight training :)
