The lowered eyelids is an Elvis expression. Rick was trying to copy Elvis in those days. But that's okay. Every one did. I liked Rickey better.

Elvis was the ultimate copier as he studied many other musicians to pick up just about all of his moves and mannerisms, so it is all good.

The way I look at is if you don't have anything nice to say don't say it all...Rick will and is missed by his family , friends and fans.....So Quetzcoat2 Take from there.... Some day you may pass in a plane crash and you may go somewhere that you wissed on someone that you knew nothing about...

I remember my father back in the fifties
when family watched Ozzie&Harriet when
the music spot at the end featured Rick N.
dad would grumble and leave the room.
I caught him peeking from the other room
watching Rick sing this song. Oh garsh!
