@MirokStudios The problem with Mazda is on our side of the world the Western Hemisphere. American Mazda modifies and yips us with the least they can. It sucks, look at the Mazda5. Mazda5 is a 7 seat micro mini van and when it gets to America they eliminate the middle seat in the second row and give us a 6 seat micro mini van. So it's really a problem with American Mazda then anything else.

Never mind a restyling; THEY HAVE TO KILL THE 4-SPEED AUTOMATIC and REPLACE IT WITH THE CVT VERSION running around in Japan and China right now. How can they let the Ford Fiesta's dual-clutch 6-speed gearbox get away with such an obvious fuel economy advantage, scot-free? No wonder it's outselling the Mazda 2 more than three times better. It's not like we have cargo space and interior features on our side. They must COMPETE.

I like how car commercials have devolved to the point where they just show video/pictures of things that have nothing to do with automobiles.

The mazda2 would be upgraded totally in august of 2013. When the Honda Fit got to america the same thing happen. It lasted 2 yrs and soon after was upgraded. The fit went from 109 hp to 117 hp w/ better mpg. I would wait because it looks like the story repeats itself with the Mazda2.

disagree. fiesta looks bloated to me. the 2 looks much more compact and has better lines
