Race Scar was an old tv program that used to be on Channel 31 in Perth. They did reviews and road tests for japanese imports around the 1990's era... They did Supras, FTO's, mr2's... I dont have any other videos from them though unfortunately.

  • You cannot find this car in North America...so how can I get one?

  • @TequilaAssassin4eva An import car dealer might be able to get one. There are some in USA - by some i mean 1 or 2 that ive seen. But is possible to get them in.

  • Are these cars good? any type? would they get into a fair bit of cash?

  • @adib1998 I have one, they are FWD but imo they are like a little ferrari looks wise. They handle like an integra, thats their forte, but they are not for everyone... some people just want a godzilla. Also they have less mods around for them than an integra. GPX/GPvR ones and aniversary ones are nice cars, the last two have factory lsds but rare and u can buy them aftermarket anyway. They're reasonably cheap... but they're a 10-15 year old car now.

  • just wondering what are the differences between gpx and gp version r e.g electric windows etc things like that

  • @sk8m8d8 Some differences are the GPvR has manual air con controls and side mirror controls (lighter), blue, red or black extra supporting drivers seats, an LSD, a larger spoiler, and slightly different front drop links (not sure on the reason for them).

  • Iv got a gpx and when the mivec kicks got a grin from ear to ear. Can proper through them into the corners, for its age and price aswell, hell of a lot better than a lot of newer cars

  • @SGde3a I really like this car..it is attractive but I don't ever think I will buy one because of the difficulty of locating one in fair condition and having it imported. I live in California which is probably the worst state to live in because of all the emissions regulations and smog, licensing and what not. But if I had the resources and the means of doing so i would definitely try and find one for sale. Very nice car, and definitely a step up in looks and performance over an Eclipse.

  • @Sasori327 I just bought an FTO today with only 77,000km on it for $7000 new zealand dollars, I think its an awesome car aye, always liked the look of them

  • i actually heard somewhere that when autocar reviewed this car they spent 2 days driving it, without realising it wasnt 4wd, thats how good the handling is.

  • nice fto you got there. my mom drives one but is the 1.8L version. its a great daily driver. and so true about the transmission being smart, it actually downshifts on its own when going downhill when the revs go up a certain point.
