HI Mate, I'm already on to it - I fancy a bit of river piking this winter as I've never caught a pike from running water. Suggestions for good venues in the midlands from TBGF viewers are very welcome...Thanks

Hi, Russ!If you blank a lot, you should try fishing in the lake i'm fishing in. Well, of course, it's a long way to Sweden... But the lake is great! If you get tired of carp, you just have to change bait and fish for brown trout of pretty good size. I'm a beginner at carp fishing but in that lake, 95 of 100 times you get fish. And the size is pretty good to. Cant wait for the next season of "Two Blokes Go Fishing" /Johan

It would be fun. I don't have any vid. foottage on it. And if I did, it would be filmed with a mobile phone, so the quality would suck.... Sad but true... But I can send you pictures of the catches, if you're interested? Witch spieces are you most interested in? Brown trout and other fish or just carp? Best regards

A very entertaining video.I used to think I was the only one who could blank recurrently. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with in 2009.

Hi Paul, thanks for the comment. I had a series of blank sessions, which wouldn't normally make a good blog, but then I thought...'hang on, there's a story here'...so I'm glad you found it entertaining.More recently the lake has been frozen, and the river flooded beyond fishable limits, but I'm struggling to make a story out of that - no fishing!Back in 2009 - see you then.
