This video was shot in Birzeit, Palestine, with these three bright souls from the Birzeit Refugee camp. They were giving their personal reflections to my painting "Majbooreen Bil Amal".

For this painting, I collaborated with my sister Tamara Abdul Hadi, who's photographs of the central figures grace the work. This is a piece about hope, imagination, and freedom. It can be set in Palestine, Iraq, or anywhere in the world where walls separate the people, and children must dream of a brighter future.

Produced as part of Al-Mahatta's International Artist Workshop, September 2010.

  • Your work is amazing. Thank you for posting this. How old is the little kid who said "this is souls work"?

  • Israel comes under attack from the coalition of nations mentioned in Ezekiel 38 and records that the Lord will fight for the Jewish state by raining hailstone, fire, and brimstone from heaven upon Israel's attacking enemies and destroy them (Ezekiel 38:18 - Ezekiel 39:6).

The prophecies of Israel's military guidebook, the Bible, will indeed be fulfilled.
