My Dad just had a ticket for that today (the cop said it was aggressive driving, he thought was Dad was flashing his lights at the truck aherad of him).
He's had the flickering for a while and hopefully the information you provided will help. Thanks.

@BiteDoctor Adobe Premiere. I like it, but my computer isn't quite powerful enough to let me get the full benefit out of it.

@BiteDoctor Did you fix your problem? I have the same issue, I have changed all the tail light bulbs and front sides. Same problem.... Please help.

@netoelneto The issue did get fixed. It turned out to be a bad ground in the wiring connector for the right rear tail light. Evidently the E46 wiring in the tail light is prone to melting, which results in a bad ground and the flickering of the HIDs. If you search on Google for E46 tail light ground you should find great instructions on fixing it.

@netoelneto actually, if you go to the link I show in the video there's information on how to fix it. That's where I found the solution for my issue.
