  • @bloodrocker2 A mean spirited person is not a christian, the term christian means follower of Jesus Christ, therefore a mean spirited person doesn't follow Christ and because of this he isn't a christian.

  • @bloodrocker2 I'm not sure I understand your point here; yes a mother should always protect her young; unfortunately it is not always the case. Age is not really the factor until the barriers of age are completely removed; and in this evil world...you must admit, after each passing generation they are coming down. Consensual sex limit was raised from 14 in Canada to 16.... however the point is, it is much more common for a 13 yr old now to having sex than it was 20 yrs ago

  • @bloodrocker2 ...the other Book opened at judgment is the Book of the Law. All those that knew not Christ shall be judged by their works from this book. As per your mean spirited christian analogy, Christ Himself stated at the beginning of the New Test: John 13:34 Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

If he is mean spirited, he not a Christian!

  • @bloodrocker2 You are correct, it is based on R&W in only the old testament. THis one demanded personal sacrifice for sins, In the New, Christ comes and Paid the sacrifice for us, you see no man can follow the Law perfectly and the punishment is death. IN the New, Christ asks that you just accept him as your savior and your death debt is then paid. Bible indicates more than 1 judgement for man. One is the Book of Life that contains those that accept him. continued...

  • @Crumper00 Also, your comment on love and compassion also ties into a previous comment I made about a mother having her daughter raped. In the same respect, a mother knows the burden and value of a child, and in most cases wouldn't want to let her daughter take on that responsibility until they were ready. Notice how I didn't speak about age, your ORIGINAL European society simply decided it would be better if the legal age was 12 and up (obviously it's much higher now)

  • @Crumper00 Ok, so salvation, the act of your entire life ceasing and you entering the same realm as the creator, is the greatest achievement. But wouldn't that be decided by right and wrong, not faith? An atheist whose done everything he possibly could to be unselfish and compassionate is worth less then a mean spirited christian in your biblical texts. So by that, Salvation, faith and morality are all linked to one another and "god".

  • @bloodrocker2 The problem with your "Love & Compassion" opinion is that there are no limits when its set by man. There are groups lobbying to lower the consensual age for sex to 10 yrs, some countries it is lower than that, all based on the idea of "Love & Compassion", When left only up to man's agenda, the acceptable level of morality continues to drop. What about Love & Compassion for animals? The dead? Who will draw the line? Who can dictate to others right & wrong?

  • @Crumper00 No mother wants to lose a child, that's common sense. And if that child was murdered or raped, that mother would want to take vengeance. Which, to authorities, means justice. That's the structure of morality, when someone does something that stirs up emotions of hatred, it's considered "bad". That's my morality anyway. As for your bible reference, you also mentioned homo-sexuality, and if I may say, love and compassion for one another hold no consequences, but for this group they do?
