This is the second of three classic OTIS man-powered elevators in my house. Enjoy!

  • what is that "machinery" in the basement? Looks like a chemical toilet?

  • @beavisPDBSK The items at the basement level are the old gas meter and a litter box for our cats.

  • @jimster586 so this man powered elevator is technically "purrrrrrrrr"fect and kitteh-approved? ;)

  • @beavisPDBSK Yep. :)

  • Nice pair of cats. So the door closes when you shut it. Cute. You can also say that this service elevator is "green" because is has natural light by day so you don't need to use electricity at all.

  • @NEXPAR I borrowed the "door closes when I shut it" from one of georgef551's man-powered elevator videos.

  • You're an idiot.

  • I didn't c any elevator here at all. The only thing I saw was the inside of a house, a staircase going down 2 a basement, and going back 2 the main floor of the house with a cat walking by on the floor.

  • @georgef551 Yes it's a single speed motor, glad you enjoyed it. :-)

  • The violent stops means it must be a single-speed motor.

    Nice service MPE!
