i used to volunteer here, but ever since they re-did everything i have not been, its sad how they euthanize so many of thoughs poor animals :/

I work for a non-profit shelter. it is EXTREMELY hard to keep up on non profit. We are not joined with animal control but DO take the animals after a 7 day stray period. At the moment our shelter is packed and kitten season hasn't even hit yet. :( So, I completely understand the position your shelter is in.
Just remember, keep going for the babies. :)
