If it were possible, I would take every animal who needed a home, whether from abuse, neglect, etc, and add them to my family. I am volunteering at a humane society and giving the dogs there all the love in my heart.

well i work at an animal shelter and it is sad seein these poor animals in these cages but a good lot of them get homes.(:

but still it is very sad to see, and i want to take them home but i give them alot of treats and love and get in the cages with them and give them belly rubs and kisses and talk to them(:

about a year ago my dog ran away, the animal shelter called said they had him, went there and came home with him and another dog couldnt help myself

wen i was at a sleepove with my friends my friends dad brought home a stray dog and wen the owner came the dog was frightened and was running away. the owner didnt even care about the dog and wen the owner drove off with the dog he started hitting it. thats wen me and my friends decided to make a video about animal cruelty i am gonna mention this video in our video

I am a co op student at my local shelter. i see this kinda of sadness everyday in the eyes of every animal. it always amazes me that no matter what these guys have been through, they are always so happy and full of hope. every time they step out of their cages their faces just light up with happiness. no animal this loyal to humans deserves to be abused or neglected.

any one who takes thier animal to a kill shelter... you are a douche bag and should die of shame for the heinous crime you have commited. u took that animal, and now ur responsible for it until it dies of old age. if u cant keep it, find a NO KILL shelter or a rescue group. they do exist.
