Follow latest updates at http://twitter.com/rt_com and http://www.facebook.com/RTnews Japanese officials confirm radioactive materials have leaked into the atmosphere following an explosion and fire at reactor number four at the Fukushima powerplant. The situation at all six reactors is said to be critical after the only two remaining cooling systems failed following the devastating quake and tsunami. John Large, an independent nuclear consultant in London says what we're seeing now is a Japanese government that's lost the gamble between technology and nature.

After 15 years in Japan I can say that Japanese love white Europeans and Americans. The Chinese are another story ... the Japanese are the best friends we have.

  • When countries become enslaved to technology this is what happens. Japs are the most technologically advanced nation. But they thought they are invincible against nature and built a nuke plant on a tsunami prone beachfront. Well they were wrong! which caused irreversible damage to the entire region and world, even Tokyo is effected. Sadly they've become prisoners in their own land! We should ask these experts now what?

  • @ExphoriahsHD you are

  • @afertyus1000

No it isn't. I'm clearly only linking to their video as each view could help give more funds to Japan.

If you actually try the link out for yourself you would see that. I commented on this as it was Japan related in the sidebar.

  • shut up beardy how can it explode if its already done that

  • @MrAncientalien lol. gonna block all their chanels eh? better late than never

  • we don't have enough nuke fuels to fuel world for 100 years and we still think that atomic power plants can. Nuke power plants should be limited and used just in very marginal way away from settled areas. When OIL would run out by 2055 so does uranium deposits will come to end the same time - very inconvienent, indeed.

  • @unheardvoice11 If theres a viable and cost effective method than fossil or atomic energy countries would go for it. Unfortunately solarpower and other alternatives are uncapable of producing the low cost energy this greedy world needs. The prob. with nuke is the high-risk otherwise its viable for amount of energy it produced without continuous raw materials for a long time. But the pollution is there weather its risk of radiation or greenhouse gasses.science cannot eliminate that! only replace!
