To all of you who are the LGBT youth and our new waking generation, no matter the anti-gay bullying you might see at your school, it gets better.

  • The image I have of San Francisco is wrong then. I thought people there where very open as to their sexual orientation.

  • @jimbobubbadj, I think San Francisco is generally very open as to their sexual orientation, especially today. That said, growing up in high school is going to be a different experience.

  • The case drew wide attention because of its shocking premise: McInerney, in a fit of homophobic rage, killed 15-year-old Larry King at E.O. Green Junior High School in Oxnard because he was offended by King's dress and how the victim interacted with him.

    It Gets Better WHY

  • I noticed your not human

your a reptilian hybrid entity pushing forth the reptilian agenda

    obvious

  • Maybe it never occurred to you that, since you are addressing young people in middle school and high school in places like Idaho and Alabama, that it might be better not to refer to them as "queer" - a word they probably hear every day, and not in the ironic sense. I hope it isn't the case that you care more about using politically correct, activist-approved jargon than actually conveying a message to gay (not "queer") youth.

  • At Cliff's on Castro for 5 years. Miss it. Take care.

  • Wonderful video. I lived in SF for 10 years. I worked on Castro

  • You sir, are such an inspiration. If you were anyone else but who you are this video wouldn't have been nearly as good. Thanks.

  • My oh my are you cute! Thank you for your contribution to this effort. Here is mine:

If you want things in your life to change, you have to change things in your life. Your chance to make these changes will come on your 18th birthday. Make a plan. Stick to that plan.

  • Thanks for reminding us that even in a gay friendly city things can be tough. I am glad that you have now found your voice.
