@KimGrace111 It's Bach ... not Suzuki ;)

@KidMusician I found it online. theviolinsite(.)com.... :D

@KimGrace111 For double stops, chords, etc. it's best to break the notes up and play them separately. Once you know exactly what the single notes sound like, add in more notes until you can do the whole chord, double stop, etc. without any trouble. I hope this helps.

Very true, play a bit faster, that is how fast the piece was intended.
-
Gab, a little faster and fix your bow arm -- it moves off kilter constantly.

she did really well with it :D I like the way she plays her violin. haha, it might sound weird for me saying this but i love this song so much, i always listen to this video and try to improvise on my own violin(: though, i can't seem to hit the right notes for the double stops.
is this song in a suzuki book? if so, which one?

No. It's not in any of the 10 Suzuki Violin Books.

how long did it take you to learn this song?
and, is it possible to find the sheet music online?

The first question is a tricky one. Gabrielle can sight read this piece. It may take a few days to play it smoothly. But it will take forever to master it. The answer to the second question is "I don't know". We bought our copy online. It's not too expensive because Mr. Bach did not make any money out of it.

Could consider reversing your double stops at certain parts, e.g. 3:06; that is, hit the E and A first then D and G. That way the theme doesn't get drowned out and misinterpreted as being the root of a chord.

We (the parents) have no clues, but Gabrielle understands it and she says thanks.
