I so glad you liked the film. :-) I wish they kept a batch of those oldies to still run sometimes.

Did you ride the old Washington buses, or just like the fishbowls? I grew up riding those DC oldies, so its hard to believe they are gone. Check out the video on YouTube I found called "Capital Transit Rolls Again." Some neat buses mixed in that footage. Its before my time, but great to watch. :-)

I didn't ride those particular fishbowls, but I did ride them in Colo. Spgs. And before that, fell in love with the Flxible new looks in Lincoln, Ne. So much so, that I actually bought an old '72 FLX! (The video is one of my first few You Tube vid.s)!

WOW!!! I wish I could locate an original fishbowl from DC. Trying to find one with the original interior will be hard, as Metrobus refurbished them to meet their color scheme. If I could find one at a scrap yard, I could at least get a set of the hardest part to find--the original custom made two-toned vinyl seating. The seats could go in another, as old TDH-5304s are around. Maybe I can work with a group or something to restore one sometime----if not mechanically operable, just cosmetic.
