  • I like to transfer my most used patterns to freezer paper. It holds up well and you can lay it out on your fabric and use weights not pins. Makes cutting way faster. The only downside is storage. I will roll up in tubes and label the ones I don't use as often. My most used ones I hang on skirt hangers since they have a clip and put them in my sewing room closet.

  • I just want to know the best way to save a pattern you like in a more pemanent way than the tissue paper that it is on. I have sewed a pattern on muslin to keep but it seems like alot of work. There is a vid on making a hard copy but all it turned out to be is an add for a sewing class. Can you pring on fabric? would it even be worth it?

  • love the plastic bag idea:)

  • great tip thank you i could never fold them either

  • Thank you for the information about using the gallon size zip-lock bag. I can never fold the pattern properly to fit into the envelope!

    Glad I'm not alone. :)

  • I personally like to use comic book storage boxes. (Weird huh?)

  • thank you for the help
