@Charliedaunicorn1557 Wikipedia doesn't always have accurate information on music. Anyone who does get all their information from wikipedia needs to find new sources. Ive been listening to Post punk and goth music for awhile and MCR is most certainly not post punk. My point being is you shouldn't post a comment about musical content when you dont know what post punk is. Dont group a faggy band like MCR into post punk its insulting to put them on the same level.

Post punk has been used to describe such classic bands such as 45 grave, alien sex fiend, alien sex fiend, bauhaus, christian death, the church, cocteau twins, the cult, death cult, fad gadget, joy division, the lords of the new church etc etc etc all the bands above also fit into the gothic subgenre

I prefer MCR's version of Desolation Row since Dylan's is over 11 minutes long, but both are fantastic
