This is the cemetery where the Clanton Brothers were buried They fought in the famous Gunfight at the OK Corral. Fascinating to walk around - excuse the audio. It was windy!
Actually this is pretty much the original cemetery. It has been "cleaned up" after the 50 years of neglect or so from 1884-1929. During this time they may have missed some graves going down the side of the hill but this is the actual original "old city cemetery" started in 1879. (Later called Boothill) These facts can be looked up in the chamber of commerce in Tombstone and in the orginal land deeds that are public domain. It's not a fake but maybe it is a tourist trap.
The entire Cemetery is a fake and nothing more than a tourist trap. The Actual Boot Hill Cemetary is located a few hundred feet off of Fitch Street (1/2 mile West of the fake Boothill) and only contains 4 verified remains. It is now on private property and is not "Advertised" for obvious reasons. The Tombstone Cemetary is at 602 W. Allen Street and does have graves dating from the late 1800's. It does conain some not so well known, but just as colorful, individuals.
Is it windy?

This isn't the "fake Boothill" it's the original. Tombstone cemetery which is the other one you refer to was built later on.
