Northanger Abbey - A Gothic Story

PLEASE, READ BEFORE WATCHING!

This is a fanfiction take on Jane Austen's novel "Northanger Abbey". It's a sort of trailer, but not a classical trailer. More like a mix between a trailer and a regular fan vid.

THE STORY: The Tilneys ARE a bad family, and Henry Tilney is, in this case, no exception. Young, innocent and extremely naive, Catherine is sucked into their world of sensuality and deceit. Even her friends are not safe from the machinations of the Tilney brothers. I love Ann Radcliffe's type of the Gothic novel, I confess, but I based this video on Lewis's nasty "Monk" that is also mentioned in "Northanger Abbey".

I absolutely love this movie adaptation. Was the scene where Catherine is in the bathtub deleted when the movie was put onto DVD? I've never seen it before.

Loved this video. I cracked up during the "a scream leads her to the abbey's dungeons", because edited like that, all the horror suddenly seems plausible. Had a great time watching and laughing!

I've actually not read or seen this version of Northanger Abbey, but I certainly loved this video. Amazing job on this! And great music choice!
