She was a truly amazing woman. Read the book about her by her daughter; Pat had heart, poise, class, strength. She did so much for the White House and for the people. And she stood by her embattled husband, whom she loved and respected.

Pat Nixon was one of the most beautiful first ladies. Very under appreciated lady.

Pat was CLASS and was absolute sunshine. A great asset to her husband and a great mom. A political wife yes, but more importantly, she held her family together through all that Dick put them through. When he wept for her at her funeral, Dick knew the greatest part of his legacy left. Dick knew that history would be KIND and UNKIND to his Presidency. I just wish he had not been so insecure to let watergate happen. George Bush II had Nixon's mentality.

R.I.P. Pat!

Pat put up those bright yellow curtains in the Oval office. Looked quite nice with the blue carpet

yeah, ugh, compared to that bitch Nancy Reagan

She was wonderful-a class act.

If the liberal Press didn't hound Richard Nixon the way they did I believe Pat Nixon would have opened up more. My God, the woman was afraid to say anything fearing the press would distort, twist and out right lie about any statement she would have made. I don't blame her for keeping a tight upper lip. Just shows you she was a lot starter than any first lady to date.

very well said!
Pat Nixon is probably the most overlooked and underrated first lady of the last 50 years. She had her own sense of the style and poise that not even Jackie Kennedy could match. FACT: Jackie may redecorated the White House and brought it glamour but Pat brought substance and renewed the White House interiors with authentic furniture and pieces. That was just Pat Nixon: AUTHENTIC! May someday the record finally give Pat her due credit while she was in the White House.

God Bless Pat!
One of the classiest and most gracious people to ever live in the White House.
I wish I could have met her.
God Speed, Mrs. Nixon and thank you
