Fathers 4 Justice at the Lincoln Memorial

This is a slideshow of still photos taken at the F4J Lincoln Memorial protest. The audio is authentic but is not precisely in sync with the actual events. It is meant to help get a sense of the mood during the protest. There were a few very vocal bystanders but on the whole the crowd was mostly tourists who stood and calmly watched in awe as the protest unfolded.

I wish they would do it again. Fathers and men's issues are taboo in the media, in the courts, in congress, in Universities, all while feminism is in the drinking water. Go figure.

It is amazing to me that the media didn't cover this. Even the local DC media. Nothing. Lincoln Memorial comandeered, swat team called, two national monuments closed down and no media coverage? I know that press releases went out along with emails and still no coverage? The DC press covers every little blip on the screen but ignores this? Makes you wonder who is controlling things.

In watching this non-violent, human rights protest against gender bias discrimination I noticed (what you will not see here) at the end of the demonstration that these activists took out both the US and British flags. They are not terrorists. They love their countries and their children. They need water, not handcuffs.

I guess the camera never lies, thats why law enforcement fears it because it can show their overreactions and crimes. Just look at the G20 protests in the UK.

You are pretty ignorant if you think that the park rangers were the ones telling people to put their cameras down. Try park police, hence the word police on their shirts. Duh.

Very inspiring. It is frightening that the Park Rangers kept saying, "Put down your cameras, put down your cameras." Perhaps the weapon most feared these days is camera.
