Hi, could you tell me what range you can shoot at effectively with the infrared light shown in the video? Is an ir illuminator better for distances of around 30-50 feet or would the infrared light you have in the video be good enough? Also does that particular infrared light emit any purple light that is visable to the eye as some other IR lights do?

Hi there love the videos just wondered can you do this with any camera as i have checked that myne pickes up the infared on the tv remote and it says it has 1.1 lux. Do you know if this would work.

hi which modle of camcorder do you use and what range can u shoot to. any info would be grate as i have a rat prob on the farm and would like to make one of these thanks.

i found that same IR light but cant seem to figure out how u would be able to go outside cuz the adapter that u buy separetly needs to be plugged in to the wall.... plz help P.S i love your vids and i was gonna do the same setup just with a different camera. thx

@DFPFTW Hi it is infra red light running at about 800-850nm, in other words its is a like that can not be seen by the naked eye as bit like ultra high pitch sounds that ears cant hear! IR light is used to illuminate things in the dark but you need a device like night vision to see it!
