@MesYntic I know because I live in Jakarta, but many people just too ignorant and selfish and use their car alone. 5 or 7 seat cars for only one person? What a waste, seriously, if you still using your own car only for yourself, please don't complain about it and just face it. I know the public transportation in Jakarta sucks, but instead of using "joki", why don't we share our empty seats in the car with our friends? It is safer, free of charge, and more fun. Just my opinion.

@tohsdog public transportation in indonesia is very very bad. crime rate is very high, and take a very long trip time. you just can't move to another city, while jakarta is the center of goverment, bussiness, and carries in indonesia.

Too much vehicle to handle. Instead of complaining, why don't you all just use public transportation? Or moving to another city if you can't handle the traffic. it's the best way you can do.

Dude, that's nothing. I'm an Indonesian citizen and I've dealt with worse rush hour traffic. Can you imagine sitting in a car surrounded by a shitload of transportation vehicles doing literally nothing for almost THREE HOURS?
Good times... I'm so proud of Indonesia, really. (/sarcasm)

a motorcycle is cheap and fast, so why wouldn't someone use one? Don't blame motorcyclists for their lack of discipline, they have as little discipline as other drivers in Jkt. If you had a motorcycle in Jkt you'd drive the same way.
