This video is a little overview of the notable personalities, places and events in Texas. It mainly focuses on the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s. From the days of dominance by the Houston office under Morris Sigel and the days of the reigns of the Funks as NWA Champions to the boom of World Class and the tragedies that have damaged the state, Texas is one of the most tumultuous and noteworthy homes to pro-wrestling in world.

**I understand I left out many people and perhaps included others too much. I tried to balance between the four major cities in Texas: Amarillo, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio. There was a lot of overlap in terms of featured talent in these promotions. There are other promotions like Texas All-Star and GWF (Global) that I did not feature extensively, but hopefully this package is enjoyable. Im not one to point out mistakes, but that clip of Wahoo/Johnny Valentine is actually from WGHP-TV in High Point, NC, from Mid Atlantic Championship Wrestling. Sorry.
