  • Woudln't that actually be perf board and not breadboard.?

    Regards

**See my Ham Radio Videos on YouTube**

  • OH2FFY GREG - Thanks - yes perfboard. I also have a solderless breadboard (protoboard, solder-less plugboard or solderless prototyping board)it does not require soldering but has capacitance between the metal strips in the board. I found for this prototype circuit the unclad perfboard was the simplest. I soldered these connections, but have used wire wrap technique with #30 enamel insulated wire on previous perfboard projects. Thanks for your comment Greg and 73 DE NG9D LYNN

  • Who says ham radio is expensive ?

  • espectacularr!!!!!... Good project!!! 73 de LU1WGO

  • I'd like to see the schematic for this please.

  • Hi Lynn ..yeah , exactly right mate.

You would have to watch out with that extra capcitance on VFO's as well.

I prefer to make up my own PCB's from scratch if my circuit is above 90% workable.

Of course real 'design as you go' prototypes require a bit more flexibility in cosntruction techniques.

I try to do most of my protyping on paper first if I can.

Looking forward to seeing more of your vid'z----
