RIP AL - He and Force helped get NHRA through a rather "interesting" experimental period in the early-mid 90's. Their dynamic and intoxicating energies and personalities made great tv. Tolliver almost brought it back out of JF, but Hofmann did it best. Don't forget, there wasn't ESPN's 6 hours of race coverage..it was a 3 week delay on TNN's American Sports Cavalcade. Don't even want to get into PPV experiment...ugh. Sorry - Thanks Al - you will be missed.
