Straight Talk announces LG Optimus 2X as its first 4G LTE Android smartphone. LG Optimus 2X is a high-end Android smartphone with specs as 1 Ghz dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor, Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 4-inch display (800x480), 8-megapixel main camera with LED flash, 1080p HD video capture, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, HDMI video output, microSD card slot for 32GB storage and 4GB of memory included. It comes with Straight Talk $45 unlimited plan.

So now if u don't want to wait for this new Straight Talk LG Optimus 2X to come out. Just go onto Ebay or Craigslist and buy an Unlocked T-Mobile LG G2x (Aka LG Optimus 2X), Then buy the ST SIM and insert. Wallah, Now u have the same service as this ST LG Optimus 2X, But probably for much cheaper. As u can buy this phone on Ebay for alittle under $300 now. And cheaper used on Craigslist. Also, most of them on Ebay are Rooted too. So there will be the Tethering availability.

Ok Guys, ST just announced a new Bring Your Own Phone (BYOP) service. Now u can bring or use ANY "Unlocked" GSM phone with the $45 plan. Androids and iPhones, But NO Blackberries. All u need to do is purchase the ST SIM or Micro SIM (Aka iPhone SIM), Pay your first month, Then insert your new ST SIM into your "Unlocked" GSM phone and WALLAH. U can use an T-Mobile 3G/4G phone or an AT&T 3G/4G phone (Non-LTE). It just has to be Unlocked and thats all. Go to ST website in check it out for yourself
