Transcendental

Transcendental, a film by Morgan Russell, expressionistically explores the psychological process of tattoo art. The viewer is brought back to the primitive origin of this art form, and is taken through this spiritual and psychological journey through the fluid camera movement and creative montage. In a society wherein the art of tattoo has been lost in the superficial trends of popular culture, Transcendental offers a refreshing return to the underlying purpose and meaning with which it originated.

this is sobeautifully done... in a course i am in called "the culture of touch" i am working on a piece regarding Tattoo and touch... and i think i may show this piece :)
