the range is prbly aprx 750m. u can use the markings in the bottom left the markings can estimate range for a 1.7m tall person.- wikipedia

@GammaLunatic I did say effective sniper defending objectives at longrange, not 10 douchebag noobs staying in a bush and not even watching the objectives. What i mean is a sniper scoping directly at the m-com station and picking up everyone going there. It's a lot harder to attack if the enemy has a sniper in an unknown location and just kills everyone planting bombs. Also if the bomb gets planted, a good sniper runs for it and goes help close and defuse it.

@omenakookos On common public servers there are so many "awesome long range snipers"... They ARE useless... You need people who attack or defend M-Coms... or peoble who attack or defend flags... ACTIVE not through sitting at the edge of the map! That's totally useless!
And furthermore... If you have ONE good long range sniper in 100 you are very, very, very lucky! Most of the so called "snipers" are not even worth to be called "sniper", because they are just noobs and dont kill anything at all!

Its a bonus based on distance. Each meter over 100 meters, gives you 1 extra point.
500 is the maximum
basically this is a snipershot over 600 meters
