@qwertysonic Because you were born in a society where it is predominantly Christian/Catholic/etc, not Buddhist.
-
@qwertysonic But he knew from the very start that people like me would turn their back on him (remember? He's said to be omniscient.). So why am I even born?
Your God seems like a loser to me, and since he punishes me for his failure he also seems like a pretty sore loser to me.

a book produced in the bronze age, on a tiny planet somewhere, doesn't contain the secrets of the universe.

@qwertysonic Grass is blue and you best believe it. Do not see it, just believe it. And also look at it. But grass is actually pink, it is not blue or green. The bottom line is that grass is blue. Do NOT take this literally. It may have been twisted along the way and you may take things out of context. You must interpret this the right way for it to make sense. Do you believe that grass is blue now? No? Well in that case I am going to torture you in a lake of fire because that's fair.

There's a big difference between nearly perfect and the illusion of it.

He did reveal Himself- Yesha Jesus = God
Hell was not Created for Men But for Fallen Angels But if Man Chooses to Follow Then They Go There too
(FreeWill)
People are Imperfect in Knowledge even (Believers)

@qwertysonic then why wouldnt he just come forth and say it?

@qwertysonic So which of the 6 options would God take? Why, he takes option 6. Hell is his torture chamber, purpose built for those that he loved, but who turn their back on him.
Some lesson in morality, eh?
-
@qwertysonic 2. Say I never want to see you ever again. Get out of my house and never darken my door again.
3. shower presents on them to win them back?
4. Or shower presents on someone else to make them jealous?
5. Perhaps you say. Well, regardless of how you feel, I still love you and I always will. My door is open, as is my heart. We will part on good terms, and maybe I will see you again some time.
6. Build a torture chamber, kidknap them and poke red hot needles into their flesh

@qwertysonic Try this. Imagine you love someone. Not a lustful selfish love, but a genuine and pure love.It could be between a man and a woman, or perhaps the love of a mother for her child. OK, are you imagining this? Now, the person you love one day tells you that they don't love you anymore. What would be the correct course of action to take. What would God do?
There are six choices here.
1.Get on your knees and weep? Crying out 'please don't leave, please please?'

well, srry but i didnt watch the vid, I think i'm alright, i'll just look for the truth myself, unless i might have already found it
but of course, the bible is true because it's the word of god, and god never lies because the bible says so, and the bible says the bible is the word of god therefore it must be the word of god.
oh and why does god not reveal himself to us? why would a loving god create something like hell? and if hell isn't 'real' which some christians believe, then you have shown that whoever came up with the concept of it is a fear-mongering, dishonest, immoral and above all evil (religious) person.

@todoz11 Because I don't have the time to answer everything, I'll focus on hell. Matthew 25:41 says that hell was created for the devil and his angels. The problem you have is with sin. To understand why such a place of torment exists, you must understand the incredible sinfulness of sin. Sin is against a holy and perfect God, and He cannot allow sin to go unpunished, or else violate His character. The penalty for sin is death, but there is hope God in Jesus came to die to pay our penalty.

@qwertysonic and in addition to that, why should i believe that the christian god is the true god, and that the bible is the true holy book, while other religions present us with alternatives that are not in any way inferior.
even if this were the case, then why would god create the human mind in such a way that they'd come up with alternative religions (he had to have seen this coming because he is omniscient).
oh and why does bad stuff happen to religious people, even if they prey a lot?
todoz11 10 months ago
@todoz11 God created everything perfect yet as in Ezekiel 28 "sin was found." God gave us a free will to chose to love Him, but mankind disregarded that. God has made Himself known through creation and through the live of believers. Why else would we be the laughingstock of the world if we had no proof of God. All religions have one thing in common, man uses/creates them to get right with God or with themselves. cont.

@todoz11 Because we all know that there is a God and there is a judgment day, and we have violated His holy Law, we deserve to die. So man has come up with alternate religions to somehow make themselves acceptable to God. Christianity is different in that it is the only religion in which God condescends to us and gives us a way to become acceptable. Since the penalty for sin is death, God died in our place and our debt is paid and we are free.

NO CONTRADICTIONS ???? HAHA check this out: EvilBible(.)com/Biblical Contradictions(.)htm
"I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved." - Genesis 32:30
"No man hath seen God at any time." - John 1:18.
RIGHT...pretty clear to me!

@iSOdushman Evil Bible is hilarious it's got a lot of humorous stuff on it.
In John 1:18, he's referring to God the Father. In Genesis he is referring to the pre-incarnate Christ.
