The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, was in Rome between 5 and 9 May. During the trip he chaired the annual Building Bridges seminar, where Christians and Muslims spend time together discussing scriptural texts. The Archbishop also installed David Richardson, Director of the Anglican Centre, as his representative in Rome, and held meetings with Pope Benedict XVI and key Vatican officials.
