Come to the Errinundra Plateau, East Gippsland. Visit the home of the forest defenders and the ancient old growth forest they're protecting. The old growth forests of Victoria have been logged for wood chip for years - over 90% is gone forever. Some trees are over 10 metres in girth and a tree stump left behind after loggers was carbon dated to be over 600 years old. The little that's left needs our urgent protection. yes indeedy - just nice to know its there and feel the connection!! all the sentient beings and the winds and the clouds, the mountain itself, the natural earth

i just loved feeling that sense of timelessness in the forest

somehow i understood (again) that all our knowledge and perceptions are deeply rooted in that fundamental, integral, deep connection - love it

thanks - i had just rescued that baby goanna from a chook so no wonder it was smiling
