A short, informative documentary about San Francisco's outdoor warning system, done with the cooperation of the SF Department of Emergency Management.

This piece also profiles Cesar Santos, the dispatcher for the DEM who does the test every Tuesday at noon and shoulders the responsibility of setting off the siren should a disaster befall the fair city of San Francisco.

  • They should've kept their STL-10s.

  • Okay, san francisco, REPLACE YOUR HORRIBLE ASS SIRENS! They are unreliable as shit with that tone playing over them!

  • It's wonderful San Francisco is prepared for such emergencies. I'm hoping others cities would follow San Francisco's example.

  • LOL...Go inside during an earthquake? WTF?

  • Okay, so where is the info on what to do or where to tune in for more info?

  • My question is, is that if there is not cable free broadcast, will the less fortunate still be able to tune into the news?

  • Now that would have been a good decision.

  • ATIs Would be better if they had TBolt sounds! :P
