A Doctor Who Tribute to William Hartnell (UPDATED FOR 2007!)

The first versions of these proved to be quite popular on this site, so I decided to spruce them up a bit for 2007 with better intros and (for later doctors) an improved musical backing. So, over the next few weeks, I'll be posting these brand new updated versions! Let's start at the very beginning, with the First Doctor, William Hartnell.

Jumlies? Sounds more like a cuddly toy than a Doctor Who monster!

Anyway, in answer to your question, I have no idea! I've hardly seen any early episodes, so I can't really answer. Maybe someone else, more knowledgeable than me can answer it?

a cranky, old man, who apparently disliked human beings, was arrogant, physically frail (he often stopped to rest in the middle of a chase!!), yet brilliant, and in the end turned out to have a heart of gold. It all starts here!! Daleks right from the beginning!! I wish the Susan connection would have been explored later in the series--but sadly it was never again mentioned onscreen after the Hartnell years (aside from 5 docs special ep).

The Chumblies were robots used by the Rills (who turned out to be the good guys) in "Galaxy 4".
