Digital Divide still exists for Urban and Rural communities. The schools have done a great job connecting and setting up programs and use of computers. It is time to look at the other parts of the puzzle. The communities where people do not have the money to buy the latest and greatest computer, they just want to use the internet, learn what all this technology can do for them in a general way. One must remember that the US population is getting older. The devices created are mostly targeted for the new upcoming tech savy. What about the 50, 60 and 70 year olds? Tech literacy is more than just using a computer and cell phone. We have to also understand the good and bad uses of the data we provide and can retrieve.
