Had one for 2 weeks now. Recently took it out in light rain while I was taking a walk in the park. The tail switch quit on me while I was changing modes. No amount of fiddling brought it back. Dead. Soon as I get it home and dried it off it was fine. Yes the seals were in good shape before hand, I've even tried replicating the fault since, nothing. Something about being in moist conditions for an extended period of time (1+ hour) made this thing fail. In contact with fenix now, will update.

Yes, Fenix has quality, but my Ultrafire G10 with his XGG R5 is almost twice as bright and can use 14500 rechargable batteries (cheap and powerful)

Buy the new nitecore d10 check out my d10sp review its much better runtimes :)
@carl8190
Don't spread false information, because the Nitecore d10 does NOT have longer runtimes. Sure, it can go about 45 hours vs 34 hours on the LD10, but what you fail to mention is that the Nitecore d10 does that with 3 lumen, while the LD10 does it with 9, that's 3x higher. For a better comparison; the Nitecore D10 goes 50 min at 130 lumen, while the LD10 goes for 1 1/2 hours at 132 lumen.
