slower than srs sandbox. crashes everytime

I see that there's way more problems with SRS HD Audio Lab, for instance: when I try to play a game, while I have music running in the background, the sound of the music just screws up badly, and so does the audio of the game I'm running. I have never run into any problems like this using SRS Audio Sandbox. and just today, some settings have been disabled from being able to change like the Bass and definition. I like the overall easier acess, but I'll stick to audio Sandbox, as there less probs.

@dark901 - I want SRS Audio Sandbox back... and I want it to be compatible with WINDOWS 7.
-
furthermore, in the help files it said that USB and Firewire devices are not supported...
i am using a USB DAC and it plays sounds , with the SRS effects applied, just fine?

i have read that someone who installed SAS had more speaker options available to him in windows control panel, he only had stereo speakers but he had SAS and he could select 5.1 speakers in the control panel
is this also true of HD Audio Lab?

Still using SRS sandbox, Thumbs up.

If you purchased SRS Sandbox is this a free upgrade?
-
@SRSLabs Instead upgrade SRS Audio Sandbox... which is far more better than the HD Audio LAB :]

What a nasty ass looking piece of software, Hard to believe it's being sold under SRS name. Spare us the bullshit lecture and come on out with "We at SRS didn't have anything to release this year so we repackaged SRS with less functionality to squeeze more dollars out the market"! God dam you waste my fucking TIME!
Why is there so much less functionality in this compared to your previous product, SRS Audio Sandbox? I would have loved to purchase HD Audio Lab, but after downloading the trial I was dismayed to see that it was basically a stripped down version of SAS. For example, most of the settings aren't even changeable on the movie and games presets. Why??

@MyKillK HAL is essentially the same in terms of functionality; its just easier to use and will automatically select the appropriate technology according to the selected content and listening output mode. The areas that are not adjustable (and are grayed out) in the movie and game modes does the same thing in SAS. Basically, the difference is that you used to be able to select the technology by name that you wanted to use, now you just select the content type and HAL picks the technology.

@MyKillK For example: Chosing Movie mode and either laptop speaker or external speaker mode will put HAL in TruSurround HD mode. SRS only had TruSurround XT that you had to manually select. Listening in music mode automatically turns on WOW HD. Video game mode mixed with headphone mode will enable SRS CS Headphone. Anything on 5.1 or 7.1 speakers turns on Circle Surround II.
Basically HAL is the automatic transmission with tiptronic shifting and SAS was the stick shift.
