DHT is more powerful than testosterone and can cause hair loss on the scalp and enlarged prostate. When Finpecia blocks DHT from forming, lost hair is re-grown and hair loss is prevented. It will also reduce the size of the prostate, thus reducing symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. DHT is only responsible for hair loss and growth on the head. It will not cause hair to grow on any other part of the body.
