@temporaldisplacement Yes, I have a lot to say about that. It's tough to learn as an adult when you are well aware of how much you are "sucking" and sounding bad at first. Little kids just have no idea- their parents tell them they are great so they are encouraged onward. And then they might grow up, forget about that phase and become an impatient violin teacher. Hang in there. I will chat about it in on of the upcoming videos.

I haven't played violin since I was 10 years old, but your Mohicans rendition has inspired me to pick it up again. Great work, and the abs are a bonus! Congrats from West Oz.

If you had to classify your style of music, what would you call it? I stumbled upon your videos here on youtube and I am an instant fan. I love the gypsy/renaissance sound. It is melodic, relaxing, hypnotic and intoxicating. I don't want to come off as creepy, but I could listen/stare at you playing for hours on end.

@Therioz I guess I'd call it instrumental ethnic folk. But it's always hard for me to answer that question. What kind of music would you guys call it?

Hi Jenny (I hope I spelled that right). I was wondering when you were going to start the instructional series. I want to learn how to play the violin and would love to be able to say that you taught me.
Also, is there a way you could play some of Charlie Daniels' "Devil Went Down to Georgia?" That would be awesome. Thanks.

@stickandtwisted I really will start the instructional bits soon. I just need to get over making everything perfect and start posting some basic stuff. I don't know that song, but I've always wanted to learn it.
