i think the car accelerate more with the stock 5 speed....
-
lol wierded me out seeing 1st go to only go to 35ish thought it was a 5 speed at first
btw i own a 2000 celica gts

@v3bahumut Thanks, mine is a 5spd but the transmission is failing because the guy before me thought he could shift good, so 1st, 2nd, 5th and R is grinding a lot.
The 6spd I'm looking at is just in town and probably cheap because he's boy that lives off his parents wealth.

was it just a straight up bolt on for the 6 speed or did you have to replace some parts to make it fit?

I'm planning on doing a 6spd swap to my GT also. Is it worth it? Or am I just wasting money? Btw in comparison isn't this just as a b18b with b16 tranny?

@lajlijthoj I don't know crap about honda....sorry, but your comparison doesn't make any sense to me.
To answer your question if your swapping from an auto to a 6 speed then yes, it's worth it....but if your swapping from a 5 speed to a 6 speed then don't bother...there is no performance gain, I swapped mine because after my 5 speed failed all I could find for cheap and on short notice was 6 speeds.

1 for 1 swap, nothing extra needed except for another 6 speed trans from a celica.
