Hi Kirk,
Thanks for the great videos, I was wondering if you could help me out, I see the use of the clamshell tents at union base, who makes them and where are they located? I need to get one and can not find anything on the net.

What the... there are penguins and seals but definitely no polar bears, I hate it when people think polar bears live in the antarctic. The live in the ARCTIC NORTH

There are animals like penguins, seals and polar bears. National Geographic and Plancius have Antarctica trips. You can find more info on national geographic website.

Unfortunately, I'm not going there anytime soon. However, I'm thinking to visit the place on day! can you imagine going from a hot sunny Oman to Antarctica, it should definitely be an awesome experience!!! I wish that I'll have the money to afford the trip in the future.

As far as I know, the drake passage is rough and strong winds and storms there are endlessly. How dangerous is that? Also, any incident happened in the recent years as a result of bad weather? I know about the 2007 incident where the ship crashed an iceberg, but wondering if there are any other things one should be concerned about.
