  • I'm thinking of getting this sight and I have 2 questions. Is it waterproof? And will it last for a long time? Oh by the way nice video!

  • @1034Titan hey!

the brand selling this sight doesn't give details on its waterproofness, but you should be able to paly with it under the rain without any problems, and even submerging it for a short period of time shouldn't cause you any problems! I have had this red dot for more than a year now and i have not been always all that careful and it still works just like it did in that video! the only thing I had to do on it was changing the batteries! thanks for your feedback!

  • would this hold a zero and is it easy and have an accurate zero, as in when turning the knobs it actually moves the reticle in a straight line, not wavy like cheap sights would do, also would this hold a zero on a real firearm? i want to put this on my 10/22 or my ar-15

  • @AzNFudgeman The manual doesn't explain how many clicks equal 1 MOA from what i know... but it is easy to accurately zero the sight and it should also hold this zero on a real firearm. howerver i'm not shure if the mount was built to withstand the recoil of a real firearm. hope his helped. if anything wasn't clear feel free to ask me!

  • it is a aimpoint isen't it?

  • also does it come with a manual explaining how many clicks equal 1 MOA?

  • swiss arms ne vaut rien a l'étranger

  • @SpiriTeaMleader i feel like the sight used for closer range, you can see more and focus better on a closer range. superior better then the iron sight for close targets.

so i think thats the reason someone would use it.

the sight needs to be small and thats why there is a limitation on how big the battery can be

thats why it use 3v ca2032. and i think thats why it is having troble in bright sunlight.

i can still see the dot. so i can still use it. but i think thats the limitation for a ca2032.

  • @EchoNatek and you are probably right about the ranges at which the red dot and at which the red dot sight should be used, but i haven't tried out a single lens red dot by now so i can't really tell the difference, buton the wight factor yours is surely superior to mine meaning it wights less. however i'm not sure about viewing angles and all that...

  • @EchoNatek now i understand better! yes i know what you mean by one glass red dot. the problem with the brightness of the dot could indeed come from there, but it is kind of strange that your real red dot, is not build in a way that gives you the possibility of using it at daytime. have you checked the batterie?i know it's kind of a dump question but it happens more often than you would think, and since i don't know which model you are exactly talking about its kind of difficult to give any advice
